This workshop teaches participants how to create a 9 Patch quilt block, a fundamental component of quilt top construction. It serves as a practical introduction to the precision and techniques required for successful quilting projects.

Students will learn essential skills including how to accurately cut fabric using a rotary cutter and ruler. Instruction covers maintaining consistent quarter inch seam allowances and the technique of nesting seams to ensure perfect alignment. All necessary sewing machines, cutting mats, and tools are provided for use during the session. Participants should bring two fat quarters of non stretch cotton fabric in contrasting colors. Those purchasing supplies at the store will receive a ten percent discount.

This class is designed for beginners who have completed Sewing Level 1 or possess equivalent experience. Attendees should be confident in setting up and threading a sewing machine independently. Join us to build your technical foundation and gain the confidence to start your own quilting journey. Sign up today to secure your spot and start piecing your first quilt block.
