Description

Intro to Wool Applique is a hands-on workshop where you will create a custom cryptid-themed wool patch. Guided by local fiber artist Lynn Christiansen, this session teaches foundational applique techniques to help you bring a unique textile creature to life through simple stitching and layering.

Participants will use provided Cryptid Wooly Flourish kits to assemble their designs step by step. You will learn how to arrange colorful wool pieces and apply basic embroidery stitches. By the end of the session, you will possess a finished wool patch that is ready to be added to a jacket, bag, or backpack as a handmade accessory.

This beginner-friendly class is designed for anyone interested in fiber arts, regardless of prior sewing experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and creative, providing an ideal setting to learn a new skill or enjoy a productive afternoon. All necessary materials are supplied for each attendee. If you are looking for a fun and approachable way to explore needlework while crafting something memorable, join us for this session to get started.
