This workshop serves as a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of hand embroidery. Participants will learn core techniques useful for creating decorative wall art, personalizing apparel, and performing fabric mending at home. It is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to develop a new creative skill in a supportive environment.

Expert instructor Elizabeth Coleman will guide the class through six essential stitches including the chain stitch, running stitch, satin stitch, french knot, back stitch, and split stitch. As you practice these techniques, you will construct a thematic Fall sampler design. The registration fee includes all necessary materials, which remain yours to keep after the session concludes.

This class is open to all skill levels and welcomes anyone interested in learning a timeless craft. We foster a relaxed and productive atmosphere that encourages creativity and social connection. Please note that a minimum of four participants is required for this session to proceed, so we encourage you to sign up with a friend to ensure the class takes place. We look forward to helping you start your embroidery journey.
