This class teaches you to construct the historical Shoo Fly quilt block, a foundational pattern widely used in both traditional and modern quilting. You will learn to sew and square up half square triangles, which are essential components for countless future projects. This session builds directly upon skills learned in the 9 Patch class.

Participants will utilize provided sewing machines, cutters, mats, and rulers to complete their project. You are required to bring two 100 percent cotton or cotton blend unwashed fat quarters in contrasting colors. You will receive a 10 percent discount on any supplies purchased at Craft Habit for this class. Instructors will guide you through the process of block assembly, ensuring your measurements and corners are precise.

This workshop is designed for intermediate beginners who have already completed Sewing Level 1 at Craft Habit or possess equivalent experience. You must be comfortable threading and setting up a sewing machine independently. Join us to refine your piecing skills in a productive and supportive environment. Secure your spot today to advance your quilting journey and gain confidence in handling geometric fabric components.
