Crochet Level 1: Square Coaster is a practical two-part workshop led by Amy Stagner at Craft Habit. This beginner session introduces foundational crochet techniques through a focused project-based learning format. It serves as an ideal entry point for individuals interested in exploring needlecrafts and preparing for more complex projects like amigurumi.

During this class, you will master the fundamental skills required to create square items such as coasters, scarves, and bookmarks. The curriculum covers essential techniques including how to chain, perform single and double crochet stitches, and execute color changes. These skills provide a solid technical base for future creative endeavors in the craft.

This series is designed for anyone looking to build confidence with a crochet hook. While we recommend pairing this with our round coaster class for a comprehensive experience, each session is standalone. The environment is supportive and instructional, ensuring you gain the necessary competence to progress. We invite you to join us for these foundational lessons. Secure your spot today to start your crochet journey and build skills that last a lifetime.
