This two part beginner crochet series led by Amy Stagner teaches essential skills through a practical project based format. Participants will learn how to create a round coaster while mastering fundamental techniques used in a variety of larger crochet projects.

In this session you will learn the magic ring technique for crocheting in the round along with basic stitches such as chain, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch. These skills serve as the building blocks for creating items like amigurumi, rugs, and blankets. You will leave the class with a completed coaster and a solid understanding of circular crochet construction.

This course is ideal for complete beginners looking to establish a strong technical foundation in a supportive environment. While this round coaster class is effective on its own, we recommend pairing it with our square coaster class for a more comprehensive learning experience. This series provides the necessary preparation for our advanced crochet and amigurumi workshops. Whether you are a total novice or looking to refine your technique, we invite you to join us and start your creative journey today.
