This class is a two-part beginner crochet series where you will learn to craft a functional round coaster. Led by instructor Amy Stagner at Craft Habit, this project-based workshop provides foundational skills for your future creative projects. It is an excellent starting point for anyone interested in eventually exploring more advanced techniques like amigurumi, rug making, or blanket construction.

During this session, you will gain hands-on experience with essential crochet mechanics. We will cover the magic ring technique for working in the round, alongside fundamental stitches including the chain, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch. These core skills form the building blocks of most crochet work and ensure you gain confidence with your hook and yarn immediately.

This workshop is designed specifically for beginners seeking a structured and supportive learning environment. While this class stands on its own, we highly recommend taking our square coaster class to gain a comprehensive understanding of basic techniques. If you are ready to start your creative journey or want to brush up on your skills, reserve your spot today and join us for a productive session.
