Sewing Level 1: Machine Sewing for Absolute Beginners

This two-hour workshop provides a foundational introduction to machine sewing for absolute beginners. It is designed specifically for individuals who do not own a sewing machine or feel overwhelmed by the initial setup process. The primary goal is to demystify sewing technology and prepare participants for more advanced creative projects.

During this session, you will gain hands-on experience with essential machine operations. Instructors will guide you through threading the machine, winding a bobbin, and changing needles. You will also practice core techniques, including stitching with a consistent seam allowance, backstitching, and adjusting machine settings. Additionally, you will learn basic troubleshooting skills to ensure smooth operation during future projects.

It serves as the prerequisite for our Level 2 courses, which focus on quilting, bag making, and garment construction.
