William Peace University Annual Tree Lighting

The William Peace University Annual Tree Lighting invites the community to campus to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. This festive tradition centers on the illumination of the iconic thirty-two-foot Christmas tree located on the Main Lawn.

Meghan Lamontagne from the MIX 101.5 Morning Show will host the evening festivities. Guests will enjoy a live musical performance by the Broughton High School Marching Band. President Jennifer Walsh is scheduled to officially light the tree at seven in the evening. Attendees can also look forward to a guest appearance by Phantom and complimentary refreshments, including hot chocolate and holiday cookies. A professional photo opportunity will be available to capture memories of the night.

This event is open to students, faculty, staff, and the local community seeking a family-friendly holiday experience. The atmosphere is designed to be welcoming and celebratory for all ages. We encourage you to join us on the Main Lawn for an evening of community spirit and seasonal joy. Please arrive early to secure a good viewing spot for the tree lighting ceremony.
