Zombiepalooza is an annual zombie themed short film competition hosted by The Cary in downtown Cary North Carolina. This event invites North Carolina filmmakers of all skill levels to showcase their creative work on the big screen every October. Films must be under five minutes and incorporate the theme of sport while maintaining a family friendly tone suitable for all ages.
The screenings take place outdoors on the Downtown Cary Park Great Lawn and Great Lawn Pavilion. If inclement weather occurs the festivities move indoors to The Cary Theater. Attendees should bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the films comfortably. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and are highly encouraged to wear costumes to enhance the festive atmosphere.
