The Teen Art Cart is a free drop-in program hosted at Downtown Cary Park designed specifically for local teens. This recurring fall series provides a creative space for participants to connect with peers and express themselves through art in an informal setting. Attendees can explore the mediums of zine making and collage throughout this session. We provide all necessary art materials, though you are welcome to bring your own supplies if you prefer. This is a guided experience where you can learn new techniques while working on your own unique projects at your own pace. There is no experience required to participate. Whether you are an avid artist or simply looking for a relaxing environment to hang out after school, this program offers a low-pressure way to engage with the community. It serves as an excellent opportunity to unwind, meet new people, and cultivate your creativity without any formal commitment.
