Guided Open Sewing

Guided Open Sewing is a semi-supervised studio session designed for makers to work on independent projects with expert support. This event provides a dedicated space for those who already understand sewing basics but need professional consultation or advice to move their projects forward.

Attendees bring their own sewing machines and toolkits to the studio. If you do not have equipment, you may rent use of our classroom machines and tools. Our instructors are available to troubleshoot specific techniques, offer creative guidance, or help you navigate tricky instructions. Whether you need a quick second opinion or a motivational pep talk, we are here to ensure your project stays on track.

This session is ideal for intermediate hobbyists who have completed foundational training and are ready to tackle independent work. Please note that this is not a learn to sew class, so participants must have a solid grasp of their projects before arriving. With space for six participants, you will have access to a collaborative environment and a shared cutting table. Register now to reserve your spot and advance your sewing skills.
