Crochet Level 1: Square Coaster
This two-part beginner crochet series led by Amy Stagner introduces the fundamentals of crocheting through a practical, project-based format. Participants will learn how to create a square coaster while gaining essential skills applicable to larger projects like bookmarks and scarves.
Students will receive hands-on instruction in core techniques including how to chain, single crochet, and double crochet. The class also covers how to perform color changes and add new yarn to your work. These sessions are specifically designed to provide a solid technical foundation for anyone interested in eventually moving on to more advanced crochet or amigurumi projects.
This course is perfect for complete beginners seeking an accessible and structured entry point into fiber arts. While you do not need to attend both the square and round coaster classes, participating in both provides a more comprehensive and balanced learning experience. The atmosphere is collaborative and supportive, making it an ideal environment to ask questions and build your confidence with a crochet hook. Secure your spot today to begin your creative journey and master the essential techniques required for future complex needlework projects.
