Crochet Level 1: Round Coaster
Crochet Level 1 Round Coaster is a hands-on workshop designed to introduce beginners to the foundational techniques of crochet. Led by instructor Amy Stagner at Craft Habit, this session focuses on the project-based skill of creating a round coaster to build your fundamental knowledge of fiber arts.
During this session, you will master the magic ring technique for working in the round. You will also learn essential stitches including the chain, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch. These core skills provide the necessary building blocks for future projects like blankets, rugs, and amigurumi. You receive direct guidance and hands-on practice in a supportive, focused environment that emphasizes technique and precision.
This class is ideal for absolute beginners or those looking to refresh their basic skills. While this session stands alone, it is part of a two-part series. Completing both the square and round coaster classes is recommended for a comprehensive learning experience. This workshop serves as an excellent starting point for those interested in advancing to more complex crochet projects. Space is limited, so register today to secure your spot and start your crochet journey.
