Phillips Farms of Cary

It was a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon. We wanted to do a family activity for the fall. In came Phillip’s farm. They had a fun kid friendly fair type event for Halloween. Fun for kids all ages, including some fun games and food trucks.

The cons were: food truck food was quite pricey, especially for the quantity given. Also 1 hr after opening, the taco truck was out of half the menu.

Overall experience was good, highly recommend.

We went for the strawberry festival, and honestly this was the most unorganized, cluster of an event I’ve ever been too. Upon arrival, I waited in an hour long line for parking, no traffic control in place at all so just a free for all that turned into a nightmare. Once finally parked, we walked to the festival grounds and were greeted by an immense crowd and very little vendor options. Dampf good Bbq line was a 2-3 hour wait(not exaggerating) and the line to get a cup of chocolate covered strawberries was almost 2 hours. The 3 ladies running the berry area looked like they were questioning life because they were so overwhelmed. They were being asked of way to much, they did their best with taking and making orders while also attempting crowd control, but people started creating their own lines that intersected with the line that was 2 hours long and created animosity amongst the crowd. Other than the berries and bbq, the only other 2 vendors were a funnel cake truck and a French fry truck. So much more could be done for a celebration of strawberries. At the bar the drinks were being made with gallon jugs of Publix strawberry lemonade, so I guess we should be thanking Publix for their contribution, because nothing received was homemade nor original to the festival. I wish I could speak on the BBQ, however once the sunburn set in while waiting in line, I gave up and left to go find lunch elsewhere. The potential was there, but with terrible execution. Thank you Publix for the only strawberry item I was able to enjoy.

Had an amazing time at the farm in Cary, NC! The perfect spot for a fun and relaxing day with the family. From the wide-open spaces and fresh air to the variety of activities like corn mazes, hayrides, and petting zoos, there’s something for everyone. The staff was super friendly, and everything was well-organized and clean. It’s a great way to disconnect from the daily grind and enjoy some quality time outdoors. We’ll definitely be back for more farm fun! Highly recommend for a perfect weekend getaway.

Great way to spend a few hours! They can support bigger groups and there are lots of different activities for the kids. I like that it was pretty much 1 wristband and then most things were included. The tractor pulls and wagon ride are such fun fall activities. Food trucks are available and a few snack spots. Overall a lovely afternoon, even if it was cloudy and cool when we were there :)

We love this annual experience and wait to go back every fall! Lots of fun activities for the children and the weather in the fall is always lovely to take advantage of the beautiful farm! It's amazing to have a Farm right in the middle the busy suburb... the hayride and the maize pit are fun, and this year the farm had many other activities! The children love it! I love that they have lots of beverages and Popsicles for sale! Overall I highly recommend this experience.
