Jean's Berry Patch, a family-owned business since 1980, started as a pick-your-own strawberry patch and has grown to include a pumpkin patch, fresh produce, and a year-round marketplace. Our new Jean's Neighborhood Market offers fresh produce, local goods, and unique gifts throughout the year. We’re proud to continue our tradition of providing family-friendly fun and quality products, especially during the Fall pumpkin season. Stop by and shop local!

Seasonal info

The pumpkin patch runs each fall, typically September through November, and the market is open daily 10 to 6.

Entry to the market and patch grounds is free. Pumpkins and decor are priced in the patch - there is no ticketed admission.

Pick pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks, hop on a hayride, let the kids loose in the play areas, and grab a photo. Call (919) 362-5800 or check social media for daily updates.

Visiting Jean's is a regular occurrence and always fun & enjoyable! We love shopping local with them instead of large chain stores & online. Wonderful choices of produce and specialty foods, pre-made meals ready to bake, pastries, sauces, jellies, jams, butters and truly unique gifts and novelties. The pumpkin patch is a annual tradition! All seasons are fun & delicious @ Jean's! 🧡🍁🎃

We had the best time here. Picked up some lovely fresh produce, loose peanuts for our backyard squirrels, locally made bacon-maple jam & hot sauce. Discovered gorgeous body butter from Old Whaling Company. The aroma inside the shop was amazing. I headed straight to the soaps & candles & wasn’t disappointed. We sat outside swinging our feet on a high chair, sampling the home made ice cream & looking at the gorgeous Carolina blue skies until the wasps chased us off. It wasn’t too busy or crowded (unlike so much is in this area), but business was steady. There was even a drive-through window for fresh strawberries. I will update with 5 stars when an inside restroom is offered. We hope a variety of sandwiches might be added as it’s a perfect lunch spot. We have lots of reasons to go back for additional visits. It was a perfect weekend stop.

We had a blueberry muffin. The store has quite variety of produce and raw honey, home made ice cream, roasted peanuts.
The store is clean and organized👍.

Enjoyed our stop at Jeans market. I was especially happy to see fresh strawberries & peaches. I was surprised how much premade foods and local items & gift idea items they had. Staff was friendly and the store was organized well. Truly a fun & useful store between Chapel Hill & Cary.

Happened to be driving by and stopped in. This is an awesome shop! Spoke with the owner and they have been in business about a year. They sell strawberries, peaches, and pumpkins depending on the season. She shared in a couple weeks they will be selling homemade donuts. Lots of homemade preserves, jellies, pickled items. They also carry a wide variety of handmade items from North Carolina. Lots of seasonal gifts and the decor inside is also seasonal. There is also prepared frozen foods - pies, quiches, etc.
