Raleigh Fire Museum Monthly Open House
Step back in time and explore the rich heritage of firefighting in the Capitol City at the Raleigh Fire Museum. Located at the Keeter Training Center, this unique facility showcases a vast collection of artifacts and historical images that span more than 150 years of dedicated public service. Whether you are a history enthusiast or looking for a memorable family outing, there is something here to spark your curiosity.
Visitors are encouraged to get hands-on with our interactive exhibits. Feel the thrill of touching a real fire truck, experience the power of spraying an actual fire hose, and marvel at our collection of pristine antique fire engines. Our dedicated team of volunteers is passionate about sharing the brave stories of those who protected Raleigh throughout history. After your tour, be sure to visit the museum store for unique keepsakes.
We invite you to join us on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Ample parking and restroom facilities are available on site for your convenience. If you cannot make our public hours, please reach out to schedule a private tour by appointment. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
