This class teaches the fundamental skills of quilt block construction by focusing on the classic 9 Patch block. You will learn the essential process of piecing to create the building blocks for a complete quilt top.

During the session, you will master technical skills including precise cutting with rulers and rotary cutters. We will guide you through assembling blocks using consistent quarter inch seam allowances and demonstrate how to nest seams to achieve perfect alignment. We provide all necessary sewing machines, cutting mats, and tools to ensure you have everything needed to succeed in the studio.

This workshop is designed for beginners who have already completed Sewing Level 1 at Craft Habit or possess equivalent experience. You must be comfortable setting up and threading a sewing machine to participate. Please bring two fat quarters of non-stretch woven cotton fabric in contrasting colors. We offer a ten percent discount on any supplies purchased at our shop for this class. Join us to build your quilting confidence and walk away with a finished 9 Patch block.
