Girl Talk is an in person educational workshop designed for 4th through 7th grade girls and their parents or trusted adult guardians. The program provides a supportive environment to discuss the physical, social, and emotional changes associated with adolescent growth and puberty. Participants will explore essential topics including the reproductive system, the menstrual cycle, and feminine hygiene through engaging activities and expert guidance. Poe educators will utilize 3D exhibits and facilitate candid discussions to make complex health topics accessible and easy to understand. This hands on approach ensures that both daughters and adults feel informed and empowered by the end of the session. This workshop is specifically intended for pairs of girls and their caregivers.
