HSNC Diwali 2026 – Festival of Lights
The Hindu Society of North Carolina invites you and your family to celebrate the auspicious festival of Diwali at HSNC Temple. Join us for a series of traditional celebrations honoring the spirit of light, faith, prosperity, family, and togetherness.
Festival Schedule
📅 Friday, November 6 – Dhanteras
Celebrate Dhanteras and begin the Diwali festivities with prayers and traditional observances.
📅 Saturday, November 7 – Kaali Chaudas & Choti Diwali
🕘 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Sunderkaand & Hanuman Chalisa Recitation
📅 Sunday, November 8 – Diwali
🕔 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Lakshmi Pooja
Deep Daan Darshan: 7:00 PM
Silver coins will also be available for purchase at the temple.
📅 Monday, November 9 – New Year
Welcome the Hindu New Year with prayers, blessings, and community celebration.
📅 Tuesday, November 10 – Bhai Dooj
Celebrate the special bond between brothers and sisters with traditional Bhai Dooj observances.
