The Fall Bioblitz is a collaborative community science event dedicated to documenting the diverse flora and fauna at Prairie Ridge. Participants work together to inventory local species, providing researchers with essential data to better understand and steward the environment for all living organisms. This event is a practical, hands-on contribution to local conservation efforts.

Attendees will conduct a comprehensive search of a designated area, documenting every species encountered from fungi to birds. Participants will use the iNaturalist platform to record observations, turning their field sightings into valuable scientific data. Expert guidance will be available to help identify various species during the survey. This effort ensures we gain a detailed snapshot of the property biodiversity throughout the season.

This event is open to naturalists, nature enthusiasts, and curious novices alike. We foster an educational and focused atmosphere where every observation contributes to a larger goal. Whether you are an experienced biologist or a beginner, your participation is vital. Please join us to learn more about our local ecosystem and help us protect our natural resources. Register today to secure your place in this seasonal scientific endeavor.
