The Downtown Cary Park Hanukkah Menorah Lighting is a community celebration held on the third night of the holiday. This public event serves to bring neighbors together to observe tradition and enjoy the festive season in an accessible outdoor setting. It is a time for shared reflection and communal joy.

Attendees can expect an evening filled with holiday music and family friendly activities. Highlights include a special activity designed for children and a complimentary sweet treat for all participants. The centerpiece of the evening is the formal lighting of the menorah. Please note that additional nightly lightings will occur at the Cary Arts Center throughout the eight days of Hanukkah, running from December 4 through December 12.

This event is open to all community members regardless of background. The atmosphere is warm, inclusive, and welcoming to families, individuals, and anyone interested in local cultural traditions. We encourage you to join us at Downtown Cary Park to celebrate the light and participate in this annual local tradition. Plan to arrive early to enjoy the festivities before the main lighting ceremony begins.
