Nice facility for the swimmers. Extremely poor seating design for spectators. If your child is swimming in lanes 7 or 8 then you will never be able to watch them swim. The facility staff need to learn manners. Verbally rude to spectators that paid to watch their kids. Payment to watch wasn't just to sit try to watch a little TV screen. The State championships should be at the GAC. This is my first experience and I don't look forward to future visits. I'm excited for my son but very disappointed with my experience.
Great location. Not too warm. Good parking. Bring noise canceling headphones π§
My kids love the place and really learned to swim, only complaint is we canβt use the showers when there are swim meets and the water is always cold.
A very nice pool. Lots of seating, but views are not good, unless you sit in the front row. The swimmers liked the deck experience and the feel of the pool. The restaurant has a nice selection of hot and cold food, as well as, drinks. The restroom facilities are adequate, but not that great when the pool building is full of people. Parking is good, but a short walk.
The pools are fantastic, but the open swim hours are very limited. They are mostly marked as "CLOSED FOR MEET," with open swim typically available only early in the morningβand only on days without scheduled meets.
