Wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone paying out of pocket for flight training. Over 6 months we couldn’t finish the lessons needed to finish part 141. I do work full time but was expecting to be scheduled more than once per week. Brenden’s schedule is even harder to work with if you work weekdays. Communication with the school is intermittent, if it exists. Gave three stars because if you can get in the plane with someone, the instructors are good.

I second the other comment that states the invoicing at this school is convoluted. The only thing that makes sense to me is that parents just don’t look at them and those with loans just don’t notice enough to make comments about this? Eventually after a few emails the invoices started to make sense. But their website is inaccurate, it’s not a wet rate.

I went through private instrument and commercial with this school and it has been an amazing experience. The instructors were VERY informative and professional, the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful with the questions I had, and the owner was straight forward and easy to get things started with. Overall great experience with this school.

I completed my FAA Commercial conversion as a foreign helicopter commercial pilot at Total Flight Solutions and couldn’t be more satisfied. The entire team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and work ethic throughout my time there. Chief Pilot Al Mattress and Assistant Chief Pilot Tim Grant consistently went above and beyond to support me—not only with quality instruction, but also by working closely with me to meet my checkride timeline. Their knowledge of FAA materials and standards was exceptional, and it made a big difference in my preparation. Their commitment to student success is truly unmatched. Highly recommend TFS to anyone looking for top-tier flight training.

Took the Premium Helicopter Introductory Flight at the Louisburg location. It was a thorough and enjoyable experience. After a comprehensive safety briefing we went over the full pre-flight inspection and checklist. After all the pre-flight and start-up procedures were complete we took a nice long flight around the area while learning basic rotary wing flight principles. Upon returning to the airport area we did several approaches, take-offs and basic hovering maneuvers. The overall experience was informative and fun. I would recommend Paul as a guide or instructor for any program. He is a wealth of knowledge and he definitely made the experience even better.
