I've been an Special Olympic athlete since, joining into the Raleigh Racers Swimming Team in December of 1992. I used to enjoy being with all my friends that, I have missed and yet, haven't seen in two almost three years. I used to do Equestrian Riding, won medals or ribbons. I've also have been part of the skiing team for Wake County Special Olympics since December of 1993 until, COVID-19 hit us hard from out of the blue. Now, I haven't been able to ski with my friends and team for two years!!!!!!!! We're not just athlete's that can bring home all sorts of metals or, ribbons just to make our families proud. We need to be back together so, we can all travel right back on the bus and enjoy ourselves as we once did! WE'RE VACCINATED FROM COVID-19 . It would be best if, Special Olympics could get the bus contract up and running for a change as well, for our sake?

Very poorly set up. Basically information on your specific city is very difficult to find and navigate. Searching for Emily‘s email in Guilford County almost impossible to find. I sent to the state website, an email, and have never heard anything never directed it to Guilford County Special Olympics office. Love Special Olympics but you have some work to do.

Myself and others have had great experiences with NC SpecialOlympics. If we didn't bring home a metal, we brought back the memory of a wonderfull experience with fellow athletes and kind helpful staff.
