Poyner YMCA

Poyner YMCA is amazing. The facility overall is exceptionally maintained. I love that the lockers are combination and super easy to use. They provide towels in the lockers rooms, along with full size showers with locking doors. There is a hot sauna in the women’s locker room, I can assume the men’s locker room has one too. Two flights of stairs, classes are held on the lowest level while the main workout area is located in the center of the building directly downstairs from the reception area. Everyone I’ve met who works here is so kind. I’ve never felt so welcomed in a gym before. Between the staff and clean facilities I love coming here and you will too!

Really lovely, friendly, and helpful staff, clean gym. Although the new squat racks are a welcome addition, I question why they came at the expense of what was already the most crowded real estate of the gym (dumbbell / mirror area) with no compensating expansion - the dumbbell area was already chaotic before and now at peak hours its a complete mess, difficult to navigate around all the benches and weights people are trying to jam into a really small space. I sincerely hope management chooses to expand the dumbbell area and mirrors out further towards the downstairs office.

The staff here are awesome and so welcoming! I love the atmosphere here! It’s so open, clean & organized. There’s lots of windows and natural lighting.

Great atmosphere and clean facility!! I really enjoyed my workout ☺️

Very impressed with this facility. The staff members are quite engaging and knowledgeable. I would most certainly recommend this facility to newcomers, tourists and friends!
