Old Reedy Creek Road Trailhead

Been coming here for almost 30 years. The parking lot by the lake outflow is a relatively recent addition and has three restrooms. My dog loves this place.

More of a stream of consciousness note taking here....the short story is that this place is awesome for all. It's safe, well taken care of, wildlife preserved, nature-centric, human and animal friendly, human powered machine friendly, the parking areas are well lit and have bathrooms.
Win,win win for all when kindness is respected .

It is a great paved trail. It can be a little narrow, making it difficult for walkers and cyclists to be on one pathway but it has plenty of nooks and crannies to step aside to. There are some hills, which if you’re like me with a little extra fluff and stuff , can be “fun” and “out of breathy”
There are clean bathrooms, good parking, bike station pump (that can be used as a stroller pump probably)
Access to the edge of the lake and nature exploring. They are doing work on the trail so there are detours but I am not sure what That looks like. It is an easy trail but I’m gonna say moderate cause I’m a big gal and there are some hills there that I do not appreciate.lol

My new favorite place! (I kinda didn't want to say anything about it. LOL! 😂) There were families with children, couples, people riding bikes, running...you name it!

Oh what a sunny and breezy day from plane spotting to cyclist talking and walkers walking pets and all, real therapy. The trail although under detour for sewage/water pipe installation was this well maintained and accessible. Never a disappointment and everyone played nice!
