Marquee Cinemas

Movie theater is outdated and not much to do inside while you wait for your movie time to come up, there also no place to sit while you wait around. Popcorn was ok but candy tasted old. Bottle of water is 6.00😬 movie started promptly on time and seat were comfortable.

It’s a nice cinema. Easy to get in, enough parking space for all and different snack options (popcorn, candy, sodas) to enjoy while watching your favorite movie! Fair ticket prices and couple of payment options as well. We loved this peaceful afternoon watching Sonic 3 with my son and wife.

Marquee Cinemas is my neighborhood theater even though I live 45 minutes away. I haven't been there in a while and decided to go watch the movie, The Amateur, which I enjoyed. The theaters are typically spacious, recliners. The staff is typically young, and sometimes you never know what you are going to get, but it was good that night. I had a long day at work and decided to jump on the road the Marquee, since the movie start time worked with when I got off work and, as mentioned, I like the theater. Movie prices are crazy everywhere, but it was a treat night so I got my large popcorn and drink combo, which includes a free refill of one of them, or both? Anyway, it was another nice, relaxing evening. The fact that the theater sits in a strip mall with so many food and other options only adds to the fact that I call it my neighborhood theater. I'll be back.

On 4/17 I had a family emergency and called to see what I could do about tickets that I had purchased for that day because we couldn't make it. They couldn't be transferred, which I understood, so she said when we go in to ask for the manager and they'll have 5 tickets there with my name on them. Because of the circumstances, I forgot to ask her name because I was so shook up from the accident but I knew she was a "manager".

We decided to go see Stitch as my 3 girls are obsessed.. and I called to ask about our tickets and how it would work with picking seats and such because my youngest is disabled. I spoke to the General Manager and she found my transaction, but whoever I spoke to that day in April never put those 5 tickets in Roll Call (or whatever they call it) she asked the other 2 assistant managers that were there and they didn't recall or remember my name or the situation.
So she can not honor our 5 tickets that we paid for because someone decided not to do their job when I frantically called on 4/17. We spend way over $150 every time we go between the tickets and food. I am so disappointed and disgusted in the customer service, because someone decided not to do their job, we lose out on almost $100. Not fair to us, or our kids.

As it is not often that we are going to the movies, I was surprised to not see any cashiers outside like usual. Even with the ease of buying tickets online, I am wondering if that is due to a lack of staffing?!?
The snack and drink variety is like most other movie theaters.
The cleanliness of that area (sticky floors) could definitely improve, as well as the theater areas inside. Each time we went, the floors inside the theater and chairs were not really cleaned. Popcorn laying around and again stickiness to the floors. That would be my only complaint!
Other than that, we definitely like coming here.
