Made4Me

We are so grateful for this wonderful organization and the people who work there! It was an absolute delight to work with Michelle throughout the entire process and meet the entire team at the Made4Me Christmas party. Our entire family had a blast.

Until we received our new chair, we didn’t have a good way to include our son in family activities such as legos or puzzles. Being 8 years old, there are no floor sitters and his wheelchair just wasn’t inclusive. He requires total support. We also didn’t have a good set up for family movie night. It would end up being the family on the sofa and Miles in his wheelchair beside the sofa. This is where Made4me came in with a solution perfect for our family! Michelle spent so much time designing a chair “made4” Miles. There was no detail left out. They built a detachable base with wheels, added a harness and pad for comfort, a place for his feeding pump, a tray, and several recline options. The most fun was when we worked together to choose the theme. After a couple of conversations we excitedly chose a royal theme, his chair would be his throne. The team painted it navy blue and drew beautiful regal designs and his name in gold. It is stunning! This chair has made Miles and our entire family so happy. We can never express enough gratitude for all the hard work put in to create this custom chair!! Thank you thank you thank you!

I could write a book about how amazing the non-profit organization-Made4Me is and how truly special and simple the whole experience is!
(I’ll try to keep it short but they are worthy of much praise!)
My 4year old son has Spina Bifida and no movement in his legs. I found Made4Me on Instagram through the Spina Bifida community I follow and decided to visit their website. From there I filled out contact information and that started communication one-on-one with the organization and decided to build our son a stander!
Next we did some simple measurements of my son and then the building began by the outstanding staff/volunteers/everyone at Made4me. Puppy Dog pals (our favorite) was the theme that was hand painted on his custom stander..amazing!!
Overall these special pieces of “adaptive equipment” are made at no cost to the families and so much love and dedication is put into each one, we will be forever greatful!

Made4Me is an amazing organization. Most products for Special Needs kiddos are costly and heavy! We needed some specialized steps so that our daughter could access our home easier. They were able to customize these steps to fit our exact space. To make it even better they are super durable and SOOOOO CUTE!! The process was very simple and Michelle is one of the sweetest humans I have ever met. I would highly recommend working with or donating to this organization.

What an amazing organization! Made4Me stepped in and made a custom stander for our son who has cerebral palsy after our insurance refused to cover it. They worked alongside the physical therapist to custom design the stander to fit his need and even personalized it with some fun colors and art!

WONDERFUL experience working with a team of people doing great work for others! The process was so easy and everyone involved was very thoughtful of our situation and my child's needs. It is impossible to find basic seats/standers for children with special needs after they outgrow typical "baby" products, but Made4Me customizes and takes each child into consideration and how their products will improve that child and families daily lives. I am so thankful to them!
