Lumpy's Ice Cream

We had ice cream cravings late at night and were lucky that they served us right at closing time. I tried the ice cream nachos with some "adult" ice cream (Drambuie), and it was fantastic. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and we bought four pints to take home—everyone loved them. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean. There's a small parking area available as well.

Price has gone way up. $32 for 3 people and no one got any toppings or anything more than 2 scoops. Icecream is good but just know you are going to spend over $10 a person.

This is a delightful and utterly local place. I had two flavors and found both to be more than acceptable, but too subtle for my tastes (I wanted more punch) -- both the hot fudge and the caramel sauce drowned out any taste of the ice-cream instead of complementing it. To be fair, our ice cream was extra cold and there was some trouble scooping it so that might be part of the issue.
I did think that the hot fudge was excellent. And I loved the service that we got (the ladies behind the counter friendly and cheerful). Also, can you go wrong with the smell of freshly made waffle cones? This ice cream shop smells like every good ice cream shop should, and over all it's got that mom & pop charm that so stores aspire to. I think Lumpy's does "local" proud, and since hundreds of reviewers really like this place I'm more than happy to give it another go next time I'm around.
P.S. Clean toilets and Space Invaders painted on the outside (both very important to me). Bonus points!

We absolutely adore this place! The ice cream here is simply the best, with its rich, creamy texture and a perfect balance of sweetness. One of my favorite aspects is the ever-changing assortment of flavors they offer.
It's a delightful experience that keeps us coming back for more!

Local, delicious, and hand made ice cream spot. They have creative rotating flavors, plus familiar classics. Great service with indoor and outdoor seating.
