This shop has become a sweet little piece of my children’s childhood memories. Their sweetest clothing and toys are from this store! Their selection is always full of high-quality great condition items. We love stopping in to say hi to the super sweet owner and her associates. I love that they are always thinking of new ways to serve their customers. I’m so thankful for this shop in our community! It is amazing to see their parking lot and our neighborhood brimming with families during their community events. Hands down the best children’s shop in the Raleigh/Durham/Cary triangle area!

This is such a fantastic consignment shop! I was in the other day dropping off something to consign which is a very seamless and smooth process btw. While I was in there, I found the most adorable little red piano for my little one that he is now obsessed with! It’s very cute on the inside and many great options/finds- all the things! Cheyenne the owner is so wonderful! Raleigh is lucky to have Little Oak Collective. I can’t wait to go back!

Update: I went back, and got some adorable 2T/3T clothes, and the cutest hats! Also found a fun Melissa and Doug doorbell house toy, that my little guy is already enjoying so much! Seems to be his new favorite toy! Love my finds and this consignment shop!

Little Oak Collective is an amazing place to come and shop for my kids, and it always has a great selection of both full priced and discounted items to choose from. It’s really nice to shop in a kids consignment store where everything is kept so neat and organized. Plus the clothing is always like-new! If I know a friend’s birthday is coming up, I try to plan ahead to come here for their super fun retail selection, and choose a toy or two from the consignment area as well. Everyone who works there is really friendly and kind, and they go out of their way to greet you and ask if you’ve been there before. It’s a warm environment that doesn’t just come from my surroundings, but the way they treat their customers. Bonus is the kid’s play area, ever-changing popsicle flavors, and the shaded park/playground across the street!

Back again being I can’t reply to my other review. Of course when bringing to the attention how the “owner “ was discriminatory to me and my friends she then tried to say how we are disruptive which is odd because I’ve never brought my nanny kids in there to play. Today was the FIRST time we ever came to check out the kid area and before they did that I as well as the other Nannie’s made sure we made a purchase. We know this is not a “popsicle shop” but I didn’t know that I needed to purchase clothing in order to buy a popsicle. You could have took this opportunity to do some self reflecting because your “staff” has always been very nice but you are very rude to be the “owner” . Below shows how you encourage kids to play in the play area yet when it’s black people in your establishment now all of a sudden we are disruptive. That’s not even the type of nanny I am now my friends. And we were not even in your store for 45/60 minutes but like I said pull up the footage. And to be clear my nanny friend went to look at the uggs that were $65 and the gingerbread skirt that was 40$ yet your trying to make it seem like we just came in there to play and not shop. And to be clear we were only in the store for 30 minutes . Below shows my apple pay and the time we got there and we left at 5 after cleaning up because I nor my nanny friends are the type of people to go to a place and not clean up after. So for the “owner” to make it seem like 1:) we’ve been disruptive
2:) like we’ve been taking advantage for months when we don’t come in this store
Is truly sad but just goes to show how people of color are treated.
And that fact that I’m not the only person that has left a review about you being rude to customers says a lot on your behalf.

This is clearly not an establishment that is centered around family .

Mind you I just texted some of the predominately white families I know and they have stated that they go in this store to play and haven’t purchased anything and have NEVER been harassed nor bothered .

Regardless before we left we said thank you and for you to try to make it seem like our encounter was anything but polite is truly disappointing.

That’s all I have to say on this matter.
This is not a safe space for people of color period.

Our entire family loves this shop!! My kids love grabbing loco pops and playing across the street after we’ve shopped! I LOVE the eclectic selection of clothing they’re able to accumulate and offer and I SUPER LOVE the sustainable nature of second hand clothes for my kiddos. Keep on rocking little oak! We love ya!

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star

301 Pogue St, Raleigh, NC 27607
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star is an interactive children’s theatre piece for very young audiences, performed by two Star Keepers named Glimmer and Sparkle. It’s time for the night sky to fill with stars, but one important star — Little Star, the wishing star — is missing because Sparkle rushed through putting the stars away the previous morning and muddled everything up. What follows is a search-and-rescue adventure as the two star keepers (and the audience) hunt for Little Star, discovering along the way that all the other stars have been put in the wrong places too and need to be moved to their proper place. Audience members help the Star Keepers find and re-organize the sky just in time for nightfall so that everyone can make a wish on their favorite star. Twinkle, Twinkle explores the ideas that mistakes happen, feelings are valid, and no one has to face hard things alone – all wrapped up in a genuinely joyful romp about stars. By Ernie Nolan Produced by special arrangement with Plays for New Audiences Dialogue complexity: conversations are short but use more vocabulary than some other shows; performers also use physical actions, props, music, and songs to tell the story. What is Theatre for the Very Young? Theatre for the Very Young (TVY) is theatre designed for ages zero through five to support their cognitive development. The purpose of TVY is to support our youngest audience members in engaging with creative play, introducing them to narrative storytelling, and exploring social and emotional learning in a fun and approachable way. TVY is designed to be sensory friendly and an open space for movement, vocalization, and exploration! Pre-show activities! Audiences are invited to arrive 30 minutes prior to each showtime (when the “house” opens) to participate in a free pre-show activity, coordinated by RLT’s education department.
