Enjoyed walking the trails especially near the lake. Really enjoyed the Memorial for the different wars that affected North Carolinians.
Saw a dog park divided by big and little dogs. Saw a playground that kids would like and a wide open grassy area to run around in.

Just moved to Garner and I love this park. Went with a new girlfriend yesterday and our dogs we met up for lunch first at Aversboro Spots Bar with great outdoor seating for your dog and it's close by. Lots of green space, 2 walking trails, playground for the kiddos as well as a dog park with both a small and large dog side. At the entrance there is a nice Veterans memorial as well definitely a must see space and parking is easy off the side of the road or down at the end in a lot by a covered picnic shelter. 💓

This is a great park!
There are several different playgrounds.
There is either an art piece or a memorial at the entrance (I'll have to figure that out).
There are at least two really massive grass areas for endless fun, or a picnic.
There is also a walking trail around it all. I do remember seeing several covered eating areas. Then of course there is the lake.
Near the entrance there is an animal petting area and a farmers market.
Also, a dedicated dog park.

When I first went to this park, I fell in love with it. Ideal location for a stroll and a peaceful setting in which to spend some alone time. There are many parking spaces accessible for you to park your car, and they also provide a place to celebrate the celebrations under cover. I'll definitely come back to this soon and upload some more photographs.
