We love the Exchange pool! It's been great for our family to be part of the pool and it's super close to our house with many neighbors and friends. There are snacks at a reasonable price; it's generally clean (though more attention to that wouldn't hurt) and the people are usually friendly. Having previously lived in a housing co-op for a number of years, I appreciate the cooperative aspect.
We signed our kids up for private swim lessons last year and while the lessons themselves were really great, it was logistically disorganized and the organizer was unhelpful. I've heard great things about Waterspouts (pre-swim instruction) and swim team if you want your children to improve swimming.

We LOVE Exchange! All 5 of my kids feel valued and special attention to their varying swimming needs to improve with swim team. I am so mad we didn’t join before! Only 2 years here for our family but if you are on the fence about whether to join do not hesitate. The price-point may seem steep at first but the GROWTH and utter joy your kids will experience will trump that immediately. Also the bathrooms are IMMACULATELY clean (I went in the boys for my son) I am telling you this cause there have been comments about how “low-key” this pool is but it is CLEAN. Another thing the lifeguards and coaches are mature and FUN. I love my kids are learning from the awesome staff here who you can just tell are sincerely into helping children thrive ❤️

An amazing pool! The most wonderful community that you will ever find, I have been a member here for 16 years now and have loved every year. Safe and thoughtful for social distancing, and makes every effort to keep memberships affordable. Love this place!!

Love the exchange pool! We have been members here for the past two years and always enjoy coming for a swim. The lifeguards are great and the pool is clean.

This is a very laid back and welcoming pool club. They have a small basketball area, ping pong table, foosball, a small playground, and a few picnic tables to use as well. They dont sell any snacks there but you can have delivery brought there from the multitude of local Carrboro/Chapel Hill restaurants.
