A truly amazing experience! While visiting family in Raleigh, I decided to go horseback riding and found Dead Broke Farm. This equestrian ranch was well managed, clean, and offered a fantastic one hour trail ride. The staff, Gigi, Amy, and Ms. Carla was friendly, informative, patient, and very kind. My horse, Rambo, was a Draft horse who was well-behaved and did all the hard work for me! The trail was breathtaking, shaded, and well kept. I loved that Ms. Carla's dog pack joined us on the ride! There were families and a children's party enjoying pony rides and the guest outdoors. The best part is it is tucked away in a very scenic area that was picturesque. If you want to experience a perfect horseback riding experience, then this is the place to go! Price is worth it!!

What a great experience! The 2 hour trail ride with Alice was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in nature in horseback. Everyone here is professional and friendly. The horses are all super well taken care of. I’m going to come back for a private and look into some a lessons.

This was the best birthday present ever! Had an amazing experience from start to finish. I’ve been somewhere else before and they do not care for the horses or your experience like Dead Broke Farm does. Alice was our guide and she was absolutely amazing! Directions are very clear and they make sure you’re comfortable the entire time! The horses are huge but friendly as can be and BEAUTIFUL! The horse I rode was Darlene and she takes direction and rides so smooth. Absolutely book here!!!!!

I had the time of my life today. I went riding for the first time in almost 20 years and Alice was incredible. I had the delight of riding Fabio and he was so well mannered and fun on the trail! This was the most fun I’ve had in years and I can’t wait to come back and see everyone all over again! I’m coming back for you Fabio!
