I've been wanting to visit this park for ages and I'm so happy I did. It is beautiful, expansive, and easy access to the Neuse River Trail, and I love the bench swings. I didn't rate it 5 stars because, unfortunately, it is right by the freeway, and the car noise is quite loud. It's worth a trip, though, and as you go deeper into the trail, the noise does subside.

Came here for a graduation cookout and I was truly surprised. It an absolutely huge space to host an outdoor event with family and friends. It’s off by itself but not to far that if you need assistance that it would take to long so I loved that. It has a nice play area for kids, a nice bike/hike trail for bikers, runners, and walkers. It’s a nice area for a date or picnic 😊. I think you’d be very pleased to visit this outdoor space .

One of the first park playgrounds we ever visited here in Raleigh. Huge park with tons of open space, for walking on trails, bike riding, jogging, playing ball, soccer or frisbee. Cute little playground area. Nothing big to write home about but, a decent playground for kids five and under, in my opinion. There’s a few slides, ten swings, a “cable slide” runner, bridges , monkey bars, and thee HUGEST sandbox in all of Raleigh! So, if ya don’t wanna drive to the beach, just come here for the sand instead! LoL

Cycling hub! This is the middle point of the Neuse River Trail. It runs about 15 miles north AND south of Anderson Point Park, about 30+ miles of paved trail in total. There is an intersection here towards Crabtree Creek. On top of all that, it’s very picturesque for photographers. I absolutely love this park.

Really like the park, but if you have bad knees like me, it is a little hilly other than that. I would definitely go back
