We love to walk the Tobacco Trail with our young puppy. The trail is flat and smooth and shaded by beautiful pines and hardwood trees, especially nice on a hot summer day. You can access the trail from various points throughout the region. This makes it easy and convenient to plan the path you prefer to take and the distance you plan to walk. We have found most people along the trail to be friendly, courteous and helpful.

Love it here, great trail. The gradual incline makes the miles pass easily. 🚴

Great launch point for the American Tobacco Trail or the White Oak Creek Greenway. They just re-graded the parking lot which is a nice improvement.

It’s a very big trail and you have lot to cover.. decide your distance and turn back 1/2 the way so you cover the distance.. Else you need to work hard to cover some extra miles..

Leveled and shaded trail gets me nice and cool in hot summer. At peak time, especially on weekend, many walkers, runners and cyclists are competing for space. Occasionally, can get a bit rough.
