A+ Swim School

A+ Swim School offers comprehensive swim instruction for all ages and skill levels. Their mission is to equip swimmers with essential water safety skills before progressing to stroke development. The school provides a range of programs, from parent-child classes for infants to advanced training for aspiring swim team members. Programs Offered: Mommy and Me: Designed for children aged 6 months and up, this class involves parents working with their children and instructors to learn basic safety skills like pool entry and exit, back float, and rollover to back float. Tadpole: For beginners with little to no water experience, focusing on pool entry and exit, floating, breath control, and kicking.Big Blue Swim School Seahorse: For those who can perform Tadpole-level tasks independently, introducing independent kicking, alternating arm movements, back paddling, and unassisted floating. Piranha: For swimmers who can swim short distances independently, focusing on swimming with rollovers, backstroke, breaststroke arms, and kicks. Dolphin: For swimmers proficient in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, introducing freestyle with rotary breathing, butterfly kicks and arms, and treading water. Shark: For students who can swim all four strokes independently, preparing for swim teams by focusing on stroke rhythm, legal starts and finishes, endurance, and flip turns. Lesson Options: Private Lessons: One-on-one instruction for 30 minutes at $45 per lesson. Private Bundles: Ten 30-minute private lessons at $40 per lesson. Group Lessons: Classes for 2-5 swimmers, 30 minutes each at $25 per lesson. Group Bundles: Ten 30-minute group lessons for 2-6 swimmers at $20 per lesson. All instructors are CPR and lifeguard certified, having completed A+ Swim School's Water Safety course and Technical Instruction Academy. Lessons are available at various neighborhood and community pools, and instructors can travel to private pools for an additional fee. The school also welcomes adult learners and provides a complimentary diagnostic during the first lesson to ensure appropriate level placement.
