Raleigh Parent (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Raleigh Parent mobile application and website (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our Services.

Location Data: With your consent, we collect precise location data (GPS) to show events and businesses near you. You can disable this in your device settings at any time.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about your interactions with the Services, such as events viewed, categories searched, and links clicked.
Device Information: Unique device identifiers, IP address, operating system, and mobile network information.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our event discovery services.
  • To calculate distances between your location and family-friendly businesses.
  • To allow business owners (Organizers) to see aggregated analytics about how many users viewed their listings.
  • To send you transactional or promotional communications (with your consent).

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. However, we share information in the following ways:
With Event Organizers/Businesses: If you interact with a business listing, we may share aggregated data with them. We do not share your precise location or contact info with businesses unless you explicitly opt-in.
Service Providers: We use third-party vendors (like Expo, Firebase, or Analytics providers) to help us operate the app. These vendors only have access to data necessary to perform their tasks.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

While Raleigh Parent is an app for parents, it contains information about children's activities. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately for deletion.

5. Your Choices & Data Deletion
