Trunk-or-Treat and Pumpkin Parlor

The Trunk-or-Treat and Pumpkin Parlor is an interactive Halloween celebration designed to provide a fun, educational experience for families and young children. This event combines traditional holiday festivities with hands-on learning opportunities held in both our outdoor parking lot and indoor facility.

Participants will start with a classic Trunk-or-Treat hosted by the NC Black Women Empowered 50 plus club. Inside the Pumpkin Parlor, guests can explore three distinct stations. At the Pumpkin Seed Science station, children learn through observation and inquiry. The Pumpkin Pound-Away station allows kids to develop fine motor skills using mallets and golf tees. The experience concludes at the Pumpkin Beauty Parlor, where children can engage in creative decorating activities. These stations offer a unique way to combine seasonal play with sensory and skill-building exercises.

This event is specifically tailored for curious young children and their caregivers looking for a meaningful holiday outing.
