Stream Cleanup at Worthdale Park

Join local Stormwater staff for a volunteer event to clean up a section of Walnut Creek at Worthdale Park. This initiative aims to improve local water quality by removing litter and debris from our natural waterways. Your participation directly supports the health of our local ecosystem.

Volunteers will spend the session walking along the creek bed to collect various forms of waste. Please arrive prepared to navigate outdoor terrain, as the work involves getting wet and muddy. All necessary equipment for the cleanup will be provided on site. This hands-on experience offers a practical way to contribute to environmental conservation efforts in your immediate community.

This event is open to motivated individuals who are comfortable working in outdoor conditions. Please note that long pants and closed-toe shoes are mandatory for safety. We are limiting attendance to 35 volunteers to ensure an effective and safe operation.
