Still. Moving: LIGHT OF LIFE as Interpreted by Killian Manning

Still. Moving: LIGHT OF LIFE is a dance-theater performance created by killianmanning/noforwardingaddress that draws direct inspiration from Yayoi Kusama’s installation currently in the NCMA People’s Collection. This live production translates visual patterns and vibrant color palettes into a dynamic narrative told through human movement and storytelling. The performance is part of the ongoing Still. Moving series hosted at the museum.

Attendees will experience an immersive interpretation of Kusama’s imaginative visual language. The performance investigates the connection between the physical body and the surrounding environment. By bridging the gap between static art and kinetic energy, the dancers transform the gallery space into a site of active dialogue. Expect a blend of structured choreography and expressive performance art that highlights how movement can animate static visual works.

This event is designed for art lovers, dance enthusiasts, and anyone interested in how different creative disciplines intersect. The atmosphere is contemplative yet high energy. Join us to see how contemporary choreography reinterprets iconic visual art. Tickets are available through the museum website. We encourage early registration to secure your spot for this unique performance experience.
