Steely Dead
Steely Dead is a national touring band from Denver, Colorado, that performs a unique fusion of Grateful Dead and Steely Dan music. The group blends the precise studio arrangements of Steely Dan with the improvisational, melodic style of the Grateful Dead to create a distinct musical experience.
The band consists of Dave Abear on guitar, Matt Abear on bass, Chris Sheldon on drums, and Dylan Teifer on keys. During each performance, the musicians weave these two iconic catalogs together through original song segues and fluid transitions. Attendees can expect a high-energy set that captures the spirit of rock history while exploring new jam-based interpretations.
This show is designed for fans of classic rock who appreciate both technical precision and spontaneous musical exploration. The atmosphere is communal and welcoming, making it an ideal environment for music lovers to connect and share a memorable live experience. Whether you are a long-time follower of these legendary bands or simply enjoy quality live performance, Steely Dead offers a professional and engaging show. Join us for a night of nostalgic tunes and creative improvisation.
