Statewide Star Party at White Deer Park
Prepare for an extraordinary evening under the cosmos as White Deer Park proudly hosts the North Carolina Statewide Star Party. This year, we are thrilled to center our festivities around the theme Mission to the Moon, inviting guests of all ages to explore the mysteries of lunar science and celestial wonders. This collaborative event, presented in partnership with the North Carolina Science Festival and supported by the NC Space Grant, promises an educational and awe-inspiring experience for the entire community.
Attendees will enjoy an array of engaging, self-guided activities situated throughout the Nature Center and the expansive grounds of the Nature Center Lawn. The evening will be complemented by the warmth of a campfire, where you can gather with friends and family to roast s'mores while sharing the beauty of the night sky. This is an ideal opportunity to spark curiosity and enjoy a memorable outdoor adventure.
Please note that this event is free of charge, though we kindly request that all participants complete their registration through our official website to secure their spot. Join us for this stellar celebration and make lasting memories under the stars.
