Description

The SRIS Campfire Cookout is an outdoor social gathering hosted at Durant Nature Preserve designed to foster community connections. This event invites participants to step away from their daily routines and enjoy a relaxed evening under the stars in a beautiful natural setting.

Attendees will enjoy a classic cookout experience centered around an open firepit. The primary activities include roasting hot dogs and preparing traditional s’mores. This environment provides a simple yet effective way to unwind, share a meal, and engage in meaningful conversations with peers. The focus is entirely on the campfire experience and the joy of preparing food together in the outdoors.

This event is ideal for anyone looking to build stronger relationships with fellow members of the community in a casual setting. The atmosphere is intended to be welcoming, low pressure, and friendly for all guests. We encourage you to join us for an evening of warmth and great company. Please ensure you arrive on time to get settled before we light the fire. We look forward to seeing you there for a memorable night.
