Square Dance Party and Beginner Lessons with Capital Squares

Join the Capital Squares dance group at St. James United Methodist Church for an evening of community, music, and movement. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or have never stepped foot on a dance floor, our square dance parties offer an energetic environment where laughter is expected and no partner is required. Our friendly caller provides clear guidance, ensuring everyone feels welcome and capable as we explore upbeat choreography together.

For those looking to build a new skill, we also offer a beginner lesson series designed to be low pressure and highly engaging. These sessions are perfect for meeting new people and learning the fundamentals of square dancing in a supportive atmosphere. Space for our beginner series is limited, so we encourage early registration to secure your spot.

Admission is affordably priced for adults and students, with special pricing available for families. Come experience why square dancing remains a beloved tradition in Raleigh. Visit our website today to view the full schedule of upcoming dates and sign up to join the fun. We look forward to seeing you there.
