Description

This hands-on workshop helps you elevate stage, cosplay, or festival costumes using creative embellishments. Led by professional costume designer Emma Droste, this class teaches you how to professionally integrate decorative elements into your existing garment base.

You will bring a core costume piece such as a vest, dress, or skirt along with three to four trims like fringe, ribbons, or lace. During the session, you will brainstorm design ideas with peers and use provided sewing machines and tools to attach one or two of your chosen trims. Please note that glitter items are strictly prohibited to maintain workshop standards.

This class is ideal for anyone aged 12 and older who has completed a beginner sewing course or possesses equivalent machine operating skills. You must be comfortable threading and maneuvering a sewing machine independently to participate. Join us to transform your outfit into a professional-grade costume while collaborating with fellow makers. We require a four person minimum to hold this session, so bring a friend to ensure your spot is secured.
