Science in the Spillway at Bond Park
Discover the wonder of the natural world at our upcoming Science in the Spillway event held at the scenic Bond Park. On April 11 and April 18, we invite families to engage with the fascinating intersections of art and science through a series of immersive, hands-on activities. This program is designed to spark curiosity and foster a deeper appreciation for environmental stewardship in an inviting outdoor setting.
On April 11, attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet the North Carolina Herpetological Society and learn all about local snake species in an interactive educational display. The excitement continues on April 18 with our Spring Family Field Day, featuring a variety of recreational games and outdoor challenges perfect for all ages. These pop-up sessions run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
We encourage all members of our community to join us for these complimentary educational experiences. Come prepared to explore, learn, and enjoy the beauty of nature while participating in meaningful scientific discovery. We look forward to welcoming your family for these two days of learning and outdoor recreation.
