Science Detectives: Green Plants is a sixty-minute educational program focused on botanical science. This class provides homeschool and track-out students with an interactive opportunity to explore plant biology and ecology through structured hands-on learning experiences.

Students will investigate why plants are green and how they function in various environments. The session incorporates role-playing activities to help participants understand plant structures. Attendees will examine how diverse species adapt to survive in different natural habitats. This approach ensures students gain a practical understanding of biological concepts through direct observation and engagement.

This drop-off program is specifically designed for students seeking a deeper exploration of natural history topics. The atmosphere is professional and discovery-focused to support meaningful learning. While students participate in the classroom, adults are required to remain within the museum building for the duration of the event. We encourage families to sign up to provide their students with a comprehensive and engaging science experience that complements their existing studies.
