Pottery Wheel: Wheel I Like It?
This one day pottery workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of wheel throwing in a professional studio setting. The session is designed to provide a hands on experience for individuals curious about ceramics and the mechanics of the pottery wheel.
During this class you will receive a guided tour of our studio facilities to understand the pottery making environment. You will spend the majority of the session behind the wheel learning basic techniques and developing a feel for clay manipulation. Each participant will have the opportunity to create their own piece. You may choose to keep the project you make during the session as a souvenir of your experience.
This class is ideal for beginners and anyone interested in exploring pottery as a hobby without a long term commitment. The atmosphere is focused and supportive providing you with clear instruction from our staff. Whether you are looking for a creative outlet or a new skill this session offers a productive introduction to the craft. Space is limited so we encourage you to sign up soon to secure your spot at the wheel.
