Pop-Up Art: Giant Snowflakes

Pop-Up Art: Giant Snowflakes is a drop-in workshop hosted at the museum where guests create large, intricate paper snowflakes to celebrate the winter solstice. This interactive session provides all necessary materials for visitors to craft unique decorations while exploring the museum galleries. The event serves as a creative highlight of our winter programming, designed to offer hands-on seasonal fun for participants of all ages.

During this session, you will learn specific folding and cutting techniques to transform standard materials into oversized, detailed snowflakes. Stationed throughout the museum, these pop-up activity zones allow you to move through the space at your own pace. You will walk away with a custom handmade decoration and the knowledge to recreate these complex patterns at home. Staff members will be available at each location to provide guidance and demonstrate the best methods for achieving symmetrical designs.

This event is ideal for families, students, and art enthusiasts looking for an engaging holiday activity. The atmosphere is casual, welcoming, and open to all skill levels. Drop by at your convenience to participate. We look forward to seeing your creativity in action.
